Weekly Wrap - Week 25

A big weekend for Ozzie women as we had six top ten finishes across the LPGA, LET and Epson Tour.

Course: Shinnecock Hills

Purse: USD $

Ozzies in the field: Jason Day, Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott, Lucas Herbert, Cam Smith, Ryan Fox (NZ)

Wyndham Clarke won his second US Open holding off Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns. A disappointing tournament for the Ozzies with none of them making the cut.

Clarke had to win in the face of harsh treatment from his home fans in what seemed a bizarre display of anti-Wyndham sentiment. To his credit Clarke handled it all with great credit and in the end was a very deserving winner.

MC – all the Ozzies.

Yamashita, the 2025 AIG Women’s Open champion then won the first playoff hole. Woad seemed to have the tournament wrapped up in regulation but a three putt bogey on the 72nd hole cost her dearly.
