What's on This Week - Week 20
The PGA Championship will dominate all golf news this week but there are a lot of Ozzies playing this week in tournaments around the world. The LET kicks off it's European swing in Germany and the LPGA is in Cincinnati.

PGA Tour
Tournament: The PGA Championship
Dates: 14-17 May
Course: Aronimink GC, Newtown Square, Pennsylvania

Ozzies in the field: Jason Day, Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott, Cam Davis, Elvis Smylie, Travis Smyth, Ryan Fox (NZ), Dan Hillier (NZ)
Th PGA Championship may not be most people’s favourite Major but it is good to see the world’s top players tee it up together. The first gap in the entries by OWGR ranking is 89th (Lucas Herbert). Add in the LIV players John Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Cam Smith, Niemann & Tyrell Hatton and this week has the prospect of some scintillating golf.
Cam Smith has just parted ways with his long time coach so it will be interesting to see if he can finally make a cut in a major after missing the last six.
Of our six Ozzies it will not be a surprise to see any of the regular PGA Tour players, Day, Lee & Scott contend and also keep an eye on Elvis Smylie. He has winning form this season and, on his day, has the class to go deep into the tournament. Cam Smith has not made a cut in the last six Majors and has not been showing the form to think he will contend this week. Travis Smyth is making his Major debut and that in itself might be enough to suggest he wont challenge but he has won big tournaments this year and been hanging out at LIV Golf a bit so we will have to see how all that converts to playing in his first Major.

The LET gets back underway with a Europe swing consisting of six tournaments before the next Major, The Amundi Evian Championship in early July.
Steph Bunque makes a welcome return to the Tour after missing the three African tournaments while Kristen Rudgeley is sitting out this week. Bunque showed some great form in Australia and was sitting at number 35 on the OOM before the three African tournaments. She has slipped down to number 62 so will need to display the early season form to get back up into a comfortable position on the OOM. She is entered in all six events on this European swing so has the opportunity to really cement that position and earn some well needed cash.
After a slowish start to the season through the Australian events Justice Bosio’s form is on the rise and it seems she is going to have a breakout tournament somewhere, so hopefully that can come in the swing of tournaments. She currently sits at number 65 on the OOM so like Bunque needs to make cuts, earn points and earn cash to keep her season going.
Whitney Hillier and Belinda Ji get a start here and they will both need as many starts and cuts made as possible before the reshuffle in June. Points earned in this swing will go a long way to getting more starts later in the season.
The big German stars, Ester Henseleit and Helen Briem are taking leave from the LPGA to play their national open as well as LET winners Alexandra Försterling, Chiara Noja, Patricia Isabel Schmidt, and Laura Fünfstück.
