A week off for some main Tours but exciting golf on the minor tours and Q School hots up in Spain.

WEEK 44 – WHAT’S ON THIS WEEK

A rest week for many Tours but the real excitement is in events like the season finale Rolex Grand Final on the Hotel Planner Tour to see who gets cards to the main DP World Tour next season and Stage 2 of the DP World Tour Q School.

LPGA

Tournament: Maybank Championship

Dates: 30 October – November 2

Course: Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club, Malaysia

Purse: USD $3.0M

Ozzies in the field: Karis Davidson, Hannah Green, Grace Kim, Cassie Porter, Robyn Choi, Lydia Ko (NZ)

Another limited field event on the Asia swing of the LPGA. Interest for the Ozzies lies with the improved from of Hannah Green and a watching brief on a number of others to see if they qualify for the season ending CME Group Tour Championship which is only for the top sixty on the OOM. Only 3 events left to consolidate a position in that top sixty

LET

A week off for our LET girls. Next up on 6 November in China for the final Aramco Teams event of the season.

WPGA

Nothing this week for our Ozzie women. Next event is a qualifier for the 2026 NSW Women’s Open. This qualifier is on 27-28 November at Dubbo

PGA Tour

A week of for the PGA Tour which returns on 6 November for the World Wide Technology Championship at Los Cabos, Mexico.

PGA Champions Tour

A couple of weeks of for the last 36 still standing and qualified for the season finale Charles Schwab Cup starting 13 November. Lots of Ozzie and Kiwi interest in this event.

DP World Tour

No tournament of the DP World Tour this week as players make their way to Dubai for the first playoff event, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship starting 6 November. However all focus this week will be on second Stage Q School being played across four venues in Spain 30 October – 2 November.

Hotel Planner Tour

Tournament: Rolex Grand Final supported by The R&A

Dates: 30 October – 2 November

Course: Club de Golf Alconada, Port d’Alcúdia, Mallorca

Purse:€500,000

The season ending finale for the Hotel Planner Tour where everything is on the line for the top 45 trying to get promotion to the main tour next season. The top ranked players are secure but it is mathematically possible for each player in the field to climb high enough to grab one of the 20 spots available for promotion to the DP World Tour. This promises to be a must watch and you can catch the action on Kayo.

Legends Tour

The Legends Tour resumes on 7 November with the Champions UK plc European Senior Masters at La Manga Club, Murcia Spain

AUS PGA Tour

Next up in Oz is the Ford NSW Open at The Vintage GC starting 13 November.

DP World Tour Q School

Second stage of the DP World Tour Q School kicks off in Spain across four venues and plenty of Ozzie's are teeing it up. Competition is over 72 holes with no cut. Quinnton Crocker is playing at Desert Springs Resort. Danny List, Phoenix Campbell, Andrew Martin and Connor McKinney are at Golf Las Pinnailas. Tyler Hodge (NZ) is playing at Isla Canela Links and Daniel Gale, Jack Thompson, and William Bruyeres are competing at Fontanals GC. Fans of popular podcast The Chipping Forecast will be following the fortunes of co-host Eddie Pepperell who is also at Fontanals GC.

About 25 from each site will progress to Final Stage at Infinitum Golf, Spain, starting 7 November.
